Custom orders at SunThreads are handled by our in-house design team — not a generic order form. Here is how a typical custom project moves from brief to installation.
Tell us the pattern you are working from, your colorway direction, and the hemp ground you have in mind. Share inspiration imagery if you have it. No formal brief required — a conversation works just as well.
Our in-house designer reviews your brief and follows up directly. We will discuss colorway fit, ground selection, and any pattern scaling or repeat adjustments that serve the project.
Before production begins, we produce a printed strike-off — a physical sample of your custom colorway on your chosen ground. You approve it before we cut a single yard.
Once approved, your order moves into production in our Los Angeles studio. Approximate lead time is 3–6 weeks from strike-off approval, depending on configuration and schedule.
Panels ship ready to install. We can coordinate with your workroom for custom lengths, trims, or heading specifications. Trade pricing applies throughout.
